About Ed Hanley

Ed Hanley began his tabla (north Indian classical percussion) training in Toronto, Canada with Ritesh Das in 1989, and has since studied with master drummers Swapan Chaudhuri, Anindo Chatterjee, Suresh Talwalkar, Karaikudi Mani and Dr. Trichy Sankaran in Canada, California and India. Ed is co-artistic director of critically acclaimed world music ensemble Autorickshaw, and co-produced the band's Juno-nominated albums Four Higher and So The Journey Goes.
